John Goodwin is President Elect of the Financial Representatives Association, a
12-member field advisory board, founded in 1907, to Northwestern Mutual. The board
oversees 14 - 16 committees, including 75+ financial reps, advisors or associate
financial reps, who work in the areas of product development, policyowner service,
technology, field benefits and compensation. The committees and board interact with management of Northwestern Mutual on a regular basis. In addition, the board meets several times a year to address the strategic and tactical issues of the priority list: a working document of intent between the Association and Northwestern Mutual.
