My wife Kristin and I have had strong roots in this community for many years. We cherish the relationships we have made with our friends, church, business associates and especially with our children Sara, John Jr. and Catherine.

My father, Fred Goodwin, is a long time Northwestern Mutual representative who has held doing what is right for the customer in very high regard. My wife is the owner of an employee benefits brokerage and consulting business that has been in business for 40 years.

I enjoy reading, tennis, squash and golf, but most of all devoting much of the waking hours in the evening and weekends to my kids and wife.
